The project

Perspectives

Tending a vineyard and making wine is an act of love and passion. The locations I have chosen for this labour of love differ in terms of their soil, climatic conditions and winemaking history but share a very similar potential for quality, a capacity to produce great wines with strong personalities that can inspire unique emotions.

I committed myself to making artisan wines that deliver a powerful expression of their terroir because I see it as a duty and an act of respect towards the wine’s intended customers.

My desire is to see wine from different perspectives, which is why I want to produce wines in the most authentic way possible, with minimal winemaking interventions and maximum respect for the environment and the terroir.

I currently produce wines from the Nerello Mascalese vines that I grow on the northern slope of Etna at Contrada Feudo Pignatone and from my Cabernet Franc vineyards in Debbiacci Le Sondraie in the municipality of Castagneto Carducci.

Locations

I chose to make wine in locations that differ dramatically in terms of their soil, climatic conditions and winemaking history but share a potential for quality.
Places with the capacity to produce great wines with strong personalities that can truly capture the essence of quality Italian wine.
